Eunice Zelma Leonard

Miss Eunice Zelma Leonard age 84 of 801 Old Pipers Gap Road, Cana, VA passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville in Hillsville, VA. She was a homemaker and was born March 31, 1923 in Carroll County, VA to the late Edd and Bertie Dowell Leonard. Surviving are two nephews and spouses, Raymond and Rhonda Leonard, Elizabeth City, NC and Charles and Peggy Leonard, Marietta, GA, five great nephews, two great-great nieces and one great-great nephew. In addition to her parents, Miss Leonard was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Raymond Leonard and Willie Eugene Leonard. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2007 at Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Gary Easter. The family will receive friends 6:30 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
