Eva Parthenia Corns

        Mrs. Eva Parthenia Doss Corns, age 89, of Stuart, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection.  She was born in Stokes County on March 7, 1931, to the late Coy L. Doss and Juanita Smith Doss.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jottie J. “Mickey” Corns; two brothers, Willie Doss and Lester Doss; and her stepmother, Emma Odell Tucker Doss.  She was of the Baptist faith, a wonderful homemaker and loving, wife and mother.

        Surviving are one son, Ryan Corns and wife, Lisa of Stuart; one step-grandchild, Brandy Bembry, two step-great grandchildren Noah Bembry, and Nella Bembry; two sisters, Linda Fulcher and husband, Bill of Patrick Springs and Judy Joyce and husband, Ronnie of Danbury, North Carolina; four brothers, Glenn Doss of Lexington, North Carolina, Carvin Doss and wife, Joanne of Lawsonville, North Carolina, Dale Doss and wife, Gloria of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Teddy Doss and wife, Geneva of Stuart, several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Buella Hubbard of Eden, North Carolina.
