She was a writer of stories and reminienses and poetry for family and friends. In addition to her parents Christine was pre-deceased by her husband Wallace Shelton; sisters, Edith Mills Proctor and Phyllis Mills Reeves and a brother, Robert (Bob) Mills. She is survived by her sister; Joyce Mills Robertson, and her sister-in-law, Jackie Sams Mills, and several nieces and nephews and also great nieces and nephews.
