Everett Bryan Ashburn

Mr. Everett Bryan Ashburn Age 79 of 748 Depot St. Mt. Airy, NC. husband of Mrs. Kathryn McKnight Ashburn passed away Sunday January 21, 2007 at the Surry Community Nursing Center in Mt. Airy. Mr. Ashburn was born January 7, 1928 in Surry County to the late Harrison and Mary Norman Ashburn, He was retired from Pike Electric and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Kathryn McKnight Ashburn of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Sammy Collins of Pilot Mountain, one son and daughter-in-law Sam and Debbie Ashburn of Pilot Mountain, four grandsons Dalton Collins, Parker Collins, Chris Ashburn and Samuel Ashburn, three great grandchildren Shealin Ashburn, Kristian Ashburn and Savannah Ashburn, by one sister Forrest "Tossie" Draughn of Yadkinville and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Ashburn was preceded in death by three sisters Alma Lambert, Dorothy Childress and Louise Pruitt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Eddie Honeycutt and Dr. Victor Lyons. The family will receive friends Monday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Services will be assisting the Ashburn Family.
