Fairy Hutson Brendle

Mrs. Fairy Hutson Brendle, age 87, of Dobson, NC passed away at Elkin Healthcare in Elkin after a long illness on Thursday evening January 17, 2008. She was born in Surry County on March 11, 1920 to the late Lee Hutson and the late Rosella Marion Hutson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Jay Brendle, one sister Linda Cave, three brothers Frank, Roy, and Paul Hutson. Mrs. Brendle was a member of Dobson First Baptist Church and was retired from Washington Mill. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Arvil Monroe Brendle of Dobson; one step son and step daughter-in-law Gray and Lisa Brendle of Winnsboro, SC; a daughter-in-law Lana Brendle of Dobson; two grandchildren Jayme Brendle Berrier, Neil and Becky Brendle; one step grandchild Gina Kim; two great grandchildren Morrison Berrier, and Erin Brendle; one sister Pansy Hutson of High Point ; three brothers Jerry Hutson, Warren Hutson both of High Point, and Bernard Hutson of Texas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 20, 2008 at the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. Michael Macon. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
