Faye Stanley Burton

Mrs. Faye Stanley Burton, age 79, of Elkin, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born May 15, 1943, in Surry County to the late Roy Thomas Stanley and the late Lela Marion Stanley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Gray Burton, brothers, Thomas Stanley, JD Stanley, Bill Stanley, and sister-in-law Nancy Stanley. 

            Left to cherish her memories are her son, Danny Gray Burton; grandchildren, Benjamin Gray Burton, and Megan Burton Billips (Justin); great- grandchildren, Kayleigh Billips and Everleigh Billips; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Charles Stanley; and sister-in-law, Audrey Stanley and several special nieces and nephews. She was so loved by all of us.

            Mrs. Burton was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great- grandmother who worked as a real estate agent and retired from Washington Mills in Dobson. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 am at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 11:00 am in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev.Tim Burton officiating and speaker, Megan Billips.  Burial will follow in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Burton family.
