Fern Blevins Hinson

Ms. Fern Blevins Hinson, age 83, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation. She was born, December 14, 1937 in Surry County to the late James Blevins and the late Elsie McCann Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam and Bert Blevins; granddaughter, Monica Leighann Casstevens; and grandsons, Nicholas and Christopher Mayes. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra Mayes and Bonnie and Garry Weddle; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Beth Burnette, Tony Mayes, Jeff Mayes and Patrick and Rachel Mayes; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. There will be a family conducted memorial service at a later date. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Hinson family.
