Florence Elizabeth Boothe

Miss Florence Elizabeth Boothe, 74, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was born in Geneva, NY on December 29, 1943 to the late Waldron and Agnes Mehnert Boothe.  Miss Boothe was retired from the State of NY, and a faithful member of Union Hill Friends Meeting.  She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Pam McCutchan and Charles, Tanny McGuire and Michael; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ruiz and Carolyn Eiserman; grandchildren, Anthony Lutz and Leanne, and Sylina Ruiz; two great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Jensen, Joyce D’Agostino, Betty Richards, Pat Maynard; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Miss Boothe was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie, and Sonny; sisters, Jackie, Helen, and Mary.  A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Union Hill Friends Meeting with the Rev. Ernest Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Union Hill Friends Meeting.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA, P.O.
