Forster Junior Coalson

Mr. Forster Junior Coalson age 74 of 226 West Lebanon Street, Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Barbara Ann Gullatt Coalson passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born November 10, 1932 in Surry County to the late Forster Jackson and Pernie Marsh Coalson. He was retired from the Sara Lee Corporation and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Barbara Ann Gullatt Coalson of the home, a son, Charles Edward Coalson, Mt. Airy, NC, a sister, Judy Coalson Middleton, Mt. Airy, NC, a brother and sister-in-law, Robert H. and Terri Coalson, Lakewood, WA, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coalson was preceded in death by three daughters, Brenda Sue Coalson Cave, Michelle Coalson and Deborah Coalson and a sister, Rachel Hicks. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Richard Loman. The family will receive friends 12:30 PM Saturday until time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Drive, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030. Moody Funeral Service is serving the Coalson family.
