Frances Gail Fulk Atkins

Mrs. Frances Gail Fulk Atkins, age 75, of Ararat NC, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Northern Surry Hospital. She was born March 2, 1947, in Surry County to the late William McKinley Fulk and the late Jettie Mae Reynolds Fulk. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Mike Atkins; daughter and son-in, Gina and Shane Gammons; grandsons, Abram Gammons and Caleb Gammons; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Elmer Holcomb; brother, Clayton Fulk; and a sister-in-law, Linda Marion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin Fulk, Jean Johnson, Ann Key and Bill Fulk. Mrs. Atkins was a loving wife, mamma and nana, and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 12:30-1:30 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dale Johnson and Rev. Larry Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Hill Baptist Church cemetery fund, 114 Bullin Farm Lane, Ararat NC 27007. The family would offer like to offer their thanks to the skilled care unit of Northern Surry Hospital . Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Atkins family.
