Frances Isabel Brown

Mrs. Frances Isabel Vestal Brown, age 82, of Lowgap, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at the Woltz Hospice Home.  Mrs. Brown was born in Yadkin County on April 5, 1936, to the late Thomas Carl and Ellie Nance Vestal.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Surviving are daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah and Duane Alexander, Carla Stewart Lawson, and Cheryl Stewart Perryman; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Penny Stewart; grandchildren, Melanie Robinson, Grace Lowe, Tara Bowman and husband Michael, Miranda Cockerham and husband Josh, Camillia Stewart, Rose Stewart; great grandchildren, Sharon Bowman, Haley Bowman, Trevin Robinson, and Reagan Robinson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Bill Priddy, Becky and Gary Speas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lowell and Faye Vestal, Tommy and Martha Vestal, and Jessie Vestal; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis William Brown; a daughter, Sharon Stewart Finney; a brother, Fred Vestal.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
