Frances Brindle Cook

Mrs. Frances Brindle Cook, age 81, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Northern Hospital in Mt. Airy, NC.

Frances was a devoted wife and business partner with her husband of 43 years. She was an avid collector and owner of the Beanie House in Dalton, GA. She was a graduate of Dalton High School and took pride in her community. Frances spent many years in volunteer service with the American Red Cross. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Eugene Cook; mother, Nellie Nix Hendricks; father, Carl Brindle; step-father, Calvin Hendricks; siblings, Ronnie Brindle, Bob Brindle, and Patricia Patterson.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Dr. David Majure of Mt. Airy, NC, Dr. Amanda Cook and Daryl Nebrich of Concord, NC, and Jennifer Cook of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Juanita Hendricks, Joe and Gayle Hendricks, Bill and Mary Brindle, and Wayne and Becky Brindle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue Perkins, Jan and Dwight McElrath, Connie Culver, and Wynette and Gary Fuquea; grandchildren, Andy Majure, Jacob Majure, Natalie Nebrich, Julia Nebrich, Evelyn Nebrich, and Evan Bridges; special friends, Richard and Judy Lewis.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Frances Brindle Cook will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Dipboye and Dr. Carolyn Dipboye officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Place Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
