Frances Louise Galyean

Frances Louise Galyean, 89 of Greensboro, NC passed away peacefully June 9. 2022 at Adams Farm Living and Rehabilitation in Jamestown, NC.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday June 13, 2022, at Union Hill Friends Church, Red Brush Rd, Mt. Airy.  Louise was born in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Luther Moir Moser and Molly Marsh Moser on October 10, 1932.  She worked many years with Kaiser Roth Hoisery of Greensboro, NC.  Louise was preceded in death by the father of her children Luther Velpo Galyean, son Ricky Lee Galyean, and daughter Judy Gale Galyean Allison, and brother-in-law Clarence Smith.  She is survived by former husband David Lee Carter, daughter Rita Galyean Savage (Craig), grandchildren Matthew Savage (Sarah), Megan Allison Ingle (Mike), James Allison, III, Adam Savage, and Kendra Lafazia (Anthony) and 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters Shelby Moser Smith and Carol Moser Bryant (Wade),  and many nieces and nephews.  Moody’s Funeral Home of Mt. Airy is handling all funeral arrangements.
