Frances Jean Owen Kelley

Mrs. Frances Jean Owen Kelley, age 55, of Elkin, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on May 16, 1969 in Surry County to the late Joseph Howard and Mary Gladys Luffman Owen. Mrs. Kelley was a retired teacher from Forsyth County Schools. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, JoAnne Driggers (Chris); sister-in-law, Connie James (Curtis); cousin that she thought of as a sister, Robin Gardner (Steve); nieces and nephews, Logan, Bree, Jude, and Rhet Pardue, Travis, Trey, and Tate Gardner; Noah Curtis, Salem Curtis, and Jacob James. as well as many extended family. In addition to her parents Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kelley; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Owen Combs and her husband Dennis. A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM at State Road Pentecostal Holiness Church, in State Road, NC. The service will be conducted by Rev. Garry Tatum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time for the service at the church.
