Frances Louise Collins Tesh

Mrs. Frances Louise Collins Tesh, 72, of Mount Airy, widow of Ray Tesh, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Tesh was born November 30, 1934, in Henry County, VA, to Henry and Ida Smith Collins. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Elledge of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Roy Lovill of Martinsville, VA; four nieces; two nephews; and special friends, Shirley and Gilbert Bolen of Mount Airy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Tesh was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Tate; two infant brothers, Willis Collins and John Collins; and her grandmother who raised her, Ema Rogers. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Moorefield Tesh and the Rev. Ed Coins, and burial will be in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
