Mr. Frank Lawrence Boldrini, 49, of Boone, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22nd 2021. Frank was born July 2nd 1971 in Southfield Michigan to Janet Rumora Epperson and the late Lawrence Frank Boldrini. Frank attended St. Petersburg High School and NC State University.
Frank was a respected chef for many years at Pandowdy’s Restaurant in Mount Airy, Hound Ears Club in Boone and Elk River Club in Banner Elk. He loved cooking and was equally loved by those he worked with. Frank also cherished cooking for his family and friends whenever given the chance, especially on holidays.
Frank had such a zest for life and sense of adventure. He loved and enjoyed snowboarding, the beach, seeing live music, boating and traveling. He was a lifelong sports fan and especially loved baseball and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Frank was a devoted husband and father and never left any doubt that his family was his number one priority.
Frank will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to everyone he met. His larger than life personality, his laughter and his giving heart are just a few things that best describe the man he was. His loving spirit will continue to be seen through his son Michael. His life was full and radiated contentment.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife and partner for more than 20 years, best friend and love of his life, Alisun Gore Boldrini, precious son Michael Lawrence Boldrini, his loving mother Janet R. Epperson, his sister Holly Boldrini Schneider and nephews Zack Smith and Caleb France.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday July 2nd @4 pm at Dan River Park in Ararat Virginia with the Reverend Tammy Franklin officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Frank’s GoFundMe page for his son Michael’s education.
