Frank Donald Jones

Mr. Donald Frank Jones age 50 of 254 East Lebanon St., Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Sherry Taylor Jones passed away Thursday afternoon, November 16, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born December 15, 1955 in Surry County, NC to Frank Maldon and Frances Coram Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Mount Airy High School. He was retired from Proctor Silex Corporation and was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sherry T. Jones of the home, a sister, Susan Jones Baskin, Mount Airy, NC, a niece and husband, Lori and Kenny Dowell, of Conover, NC; Special friends Mike and Juanita Wilhite of Mount Airy. NC and his favorite cat "Woody". A memorial service will be held Sunday November 19, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church with the service conducted by Dr. Roger Gilbert. The Jones family will receive friends Sunday in the Fireside Room at First Baptist Church from 2:00 until the hour of the service and at other times at the home of his sister at 148 South Reeves Road Mount Airy, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mount Airy Dialysis Center 1280 Newsome St. Mount Airy, NC 27030 or Northern Home Care 933 Old Rockford St. Mount Airy, NC 27030.
