Frank Warren Noah

Mr. Frank Warren Noah, 82, of 108 Maple Ridge Lane, Ararat, VA,passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009, at his home. He was born July 21, 1926, in Stokes County, to the late William Walter Noah and Mary Evelyn Joyce Noah. He was a farmer and sawmiller. Mr. Noah attended Raven Rock Wesleyan Church. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Montgomery Noah of the home; a sister, Ollie Joyce Bouldin of High Point; and a half-brother, James Thomas "Tommy" Noahof Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents, Mr. Noah was preceded in death by four sisters, Lennis S. Yow, Beadie J. Smith, Lena J. Knox, and Evelyn Noah Wright; and three brothers, Johnny Noah, Claude Joyce, and Arthur Noah. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Allan Paige, and burial will follow in the Barnard Family cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
