Frankie Isabel (Atkins) Lowe

Mrs. Frankie Isabel Atkins Lowe, age 89, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. Mrs. Lowe was born on July 1, 1935, in Surry County to the late Joe and Inda Ward Atkins. Frankie was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her sister-in-law, Barbara Adkins Amoss; special nieces and spouses, Tammy Smith and Craig, Sheila Watts and Danny, Audrey Tucker and Todd; Lucy Nottingham and Mark; along with several other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband, T.E “Bill” Lowe; sister, Carrie Atkins Underwood; and brothers, Billy Dean Atkins and Ted Adkins. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Westside Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
