Franklin "Buck" Delano Hall

Mr. Franklin “Buck” Delano Hall, age 83 of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Walnut Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born in Surry County on September 30, 1940, to the late Hubert and Etta Mae Faw Hall.  Mr. Hall proudly served our country and retired from the United States Army.  He served two tours in Vietnam in a heavy artillery unit.  Mr. Hall also retired from Patterson Buick as sales manager.  He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rodney and Jeanette Hall of Conover, NC, and Eddy Hall of Taylorsville, NC; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Faye Starr; and several other family members.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a brother, Gasten Hall.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday December 12, 2023, at 1:00pm at Skyline Memory Gardens with military honors by VFW Memorial Honor Guard, Pilot Mountain Post 9436 and Mt. Airy Post 2019.
