Franklin "Frankie" Leon DeHart

Mr. Franklin Leon “Frankie” DeHart, age 77 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Patrick County on July 17, 1944, to the late Elijah DeHart and Eldean Bullins DeHart.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael DeHart; and two brothers, Elijah Aaron DeHart, Jr. and Charles Timothy DeHart.

          Surviving is three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Kim DeHart of Stuart, Elber and Sherrie DeHart of Mt. Airy, NC, Frankie DeHart, Jr. of Stuart; four grandchildren, Stacie D. Mabe, Coleman DeHart, Kayla Holdaway, Stephanie Collins; seven great grandchildren, Madison, Ella, Easton, Holden, Abigail, Josephine, Brock; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Lilla and Alfred Zimmerman of Richmond, Phyllis and Ricky Hutson of Stuart, Lois and Bill Blake of Woolwine, Ella and Tommy Pack of Stuart; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Dean DeHart of Stuart, Ellis and Virginia DeHart of Sandy Ridge, NC; a special sister, Bonnie DeHart; a special niece, Brooke Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

          A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
