Franklin Lee "Frankie" Love

Mount Airy, North Carolina

Mr. Franklin “Frankie” Lee Love, age 72, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mr. Love was born December 2, 1950, in Surry County to the late Hal Madison and Essie Hull Love.  Frankie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He had a love for music and spent the early part of his life in broadcasting and then later provided security at Old Towne Country Club.  Mr. Love will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  He is survived by a daughter, Dustie Love Hunter and Shaun Palmer; a granddaughter, Sidney Madison Hunter; a brother and sister-in-law, Hal Madison “Sonny” Love, Jr., and wife Kaye; a sister-in-law, Allene Love; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Love was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Matthews, and a brother, Bobby Dean Love.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens.  Interment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
