Fred Dupree

Mr. Fred Dupree, 88, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at The Citidel in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama, where the band Alabama originated, on December 15, 1933. Fred loved fishing and supporting his grandson’s racing career. He was known for his impeccable sense of humor. Left to cherish his memory are his grandson and spouse, Daniel and JoBeth Dupree. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dupree was preceded by his loving wife, Stacie Helen Gammons Dupree; his son, Jeffrey Dale Dupree; a brother, CL Dupree; and a sister. There are no formal services planned for Mr. Dupree. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Dupree family.
