Fred Noah

Mr. Fred Noah, 70, of 307 East Elm Street, Mount Airy, passed away Saturday evening, December 6, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born July 20, 1938, in Surry County, to the late Roland Lee and Lola Marie Smith Noah. Surviving are a sister, Judy Boyles of Mount Airy; a brother, Cecil Noah of Mount Airy; a "special niece" and her husband, Shasta and James Gilley of Pilot Mountain; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Noah was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Pack, Patricia Pike, and Angela Noah. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Mount Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Ricky Wood officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Services, Inc., P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030, to help with Mr. Noah's funeral expenses.
