Fredrick Jackson Brindle

Mr. Fredrick Jackson Brindle, 89, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Sunday July 28, 2024. Born March 29, 1935, in Surry County to the late Charlie Walter and Evie Norman Brindle. Mr. Brindle was an Army Veteran. After his honorable discharge from the military, he went on to work for himself as an equipment operator. In retirement he cultivated his love for tractors and started collecting. Mr. Brindle is survived by his fiancée, Lucille Riggans; nieces, Donna Jarrell, Denna Thompson, and Dianna Riggans; as well as special friends, Donnie Hamm and Nancy Hemmings. A graveside celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 219 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436, in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Wall and Bro. Mickey Brooks officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their care.
