Freeda Brenda Bowman

Mrs. Freeda Brenda Quesinberry Bowman, 74, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at her home. She was born in Carroll County on October 4, 1946, to the late Murphy and Verlie Shelton Quesinberry. Mrs. Bowman was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Freeda Ann and Arles Phillips; Brenda Fay Tobler and Darin Perkins; grandchildren and spouses, Jasmine and Rev. Chris Danley, Kelly Amanda and Ricky Arnett, Stephanie Paige Phillips and Justin Flynn, Caleb Andrew Cockerham and Carly Crisafulli; great grandchildren, Autumn Rae Robertson, Isaiah Danley, Sadie Danley, Emersyn Grae Arnett; sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce and Larry Davis, Rhonda and Wade Leonard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by a son, Travis Dale Tobler; brothers, Bradley Dean Quesinberry, Randall Quesinberry; her step father, Rayburn Willard. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 7:00 PM at Shield of Faith Baptist Church, 209 East Atkins St., Dobson, 27017, with the Rev. Chris Danley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is serving the Bowman family.
