Gabrielle "Gabby" Ann Hodges

Miss Gabrielle Ann “Gabby” Hodges, age 17, of Elkin, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at her residence. She was born July 21, 2005, in Surry County to Matt and Melissa Hutchens Hodges. In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memories are her grandparents, Frank Tate, Frank and Penny Hutchens, and Sue and Danny Brown; siblings, Grace Smyre, Cheyenne Gaither, Kerri (Cortney) Blanchard, Lukas Culler, and Kody Bean; great grandparents, Pless Alton and Debbie Hodges; aunts, Crystal Bailey, Brandy Bailey Robertson, and Crystal Akers; Uncles, Jason (Yevonne)  Hodges, Jason (Julie) Akers, Jacob Akers (Karen Boles), and Eric (Angie) Akers; cousins, Malachi Tate, Alexandria Gaither, Isaiah Gaither, Cheyenne Gaither, Grace Smyre, Noah McCloud, Nathaniel McCloud, Unieqe McCloud, Elijah Robertson, Tyler Baker, Mason Boyles, Kaylee Akers, Emily Akers, Livia Akers, Sierra Akers, Caleb Akers, Christain Akers, Danielle Wheeler, Kaye Kegley, Kenly Wheeler, Nicholas Maze, Alexis Akers, Mickie Akers, Hunter Akers, Axel Norman, Lilly Goodson, Madison Goodson, and Jason Reinholz. Miss Hodges was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patsy Ann Tate, Alton Pless Hodges, and Gail Hutchens; aunt and uncle, Sally and William Hutchens.

            Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 6-8:00, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Jerry Key officiating. Burial will be in the Central View Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Hodges family.
