Gary Allen Bailey

          Mr. Gary Allen Bailey, age 69 of Patrick Springs, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at SOVAH Health in Martinsville.  He was born in West Virginia on November 14, 1951 to the late Chat and Opal Stacy Bailey.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Eddie Bailey.  Gary was an avid West Virginia Mountaineer Fan.  He worked in the coal mines for many years and was a member of the UMWA.  He loved hunting, fishing, and being at go-kart races with his grandson, Cole.

          Surviving are his wife, Lina Cline Bailey of the home; three daughters and a son-in-law, Angel Dus Bailey of Patrick Springs, Dusti Bailey and Kevin Graves of Aberdeen, NC, Chasity Leann Bailey of the home; one grandchild, Cole Alan Sloan; special children, E.J., Kenston, Kali, Taquelle; two brothers, Quinten Stacy of Patrick Springs, Danny Stacy of Fieldale; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Danny Hodges of Bassett, Teresa and Tim Jones of Stuart; sister-in-law, Kathy Bailey; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bailey, Dedra Bailey, Eddie Bailey, II, Bo Stacy, Sterlin Jones, Stephanie Auker; special cousins, Susan Branham, June Ann Wilkes, Donnie Stacy, and Sherry Stacy and several other cousins; and his fur baby, Little Ann.

          A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Heath officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 until time to leave for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.  “Let’s Go Mountaineers”
