Gary Hatcher

         Mr. Gary Hatcher age 61, of Patrick Springs, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Virginia on February 8, 1957 to the late David Clarence Hatcher, Jr and Madeline Puckett Hatcher.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Elder.  Gary faithfully served as a corpsman with the United States Navy.  Later on he worked as a C.N.A. at various hospitals, and worked as a sub-contractor with Nationwide Homes.

         Surviving are two brothers, Daryl Hatcher of Collinsville, and Lane Hatcher of Stuart; nieces and nephew, Jessica, Sabrina and Jeremy; many cousins and friends.

         Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Kenneth Terry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Puckett Family Cemetery on Bent Road in Meadows of Dan.  Military Rites will be conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Guard.
