Gaye Marshall Hiatt

Mrs. Gaye Marshall Hiatt age 56, wife of Marvin Hiatt of Ararat, VA passed away at her home May 12, 2007. Mrs. Hiatt was born in Patrick County VA, April 6, 1951 to the late Andy and Nora Marshall. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Marvin Hiatt of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce Anthony and Sandra Brim of Charlotte; a step son, Dwayne Hiatt of Ararat, VA; two brothers, Clinton Marshall of Reidsville, Eugene Marshall of Ararat, VA and special friends, Mary Jones and Catherine Creed. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hiatt was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy by Rev. Arlis Thomas with burial follow in the Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 1:00 PM until the time of the service at Moody Funeral Home.
