Gayle Draughn Triplett

Mrs. Gayle Draughn Triplett, age 75, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She was born February 9, 1946, in Surry County to the late James Daniel Draughn and Elizabeth Frances Wood Draughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Triplett; and her son, Kenneth Rosendahl; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Rossie Dezern; and her twin brother, Douglas Michael Draughn. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Kevin Rosendahl; daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey and Gerald Stultz, Leann Smith, April Rosendahl, Vickie and Johnny Huffman, and Violet Triplett; and daughter-in-law Carla Shinault Rosendahl; grandchildren, Tyler , Cecelia, Tanner and Maegan, Jake, Carson, Dylan, Dawson, Emma, Nick, Hanna and Devin; step-grandchildren, Bryan, Jessica and Jarad; great-grandchildren, Cameron,Ayden, Connor, Avett, Atlas, Charlie and Kennedy; step great-grandchildren, Colby, Cassie and Cami; and many friends and family. Mrs. Triplett was a member of Salem Baptist Church for over 50 years and had worked at Tultex before working at Walmart in Elkin. Visitation will be Monday, August 9, 2021, from 12-2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the church with Reverend Darrell Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Triplett family.
