Geert Jules Edgard Camil De Coster

Mr. Geert Jules Edgard Camil De Coster, age 60 of Patrick Springs, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. He was born in Brugge, Belgium on July 29, 1961, and moved to the United States in 1995. Geert worked his entire career in the IT field with his last 12 years as a systems software analyst for IBM. He enjoyed building PCs, creating house plans for local contractors, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. De Coster is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tammy Ratliff De Coster; three children, Andrew Stone (Casey), Emily Spence (Brandon), and Thomas De Coster; two grandchildren, Bentley Spence and Braxton Stone; his parents, Omer De Coster and Georgette De Coster Poncelet; one sister, Katty De Coster (Eric Sacre); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Grady Ratliff and Lois Ratliff; brother-in-law, Tim Ratliff (Sara), one niece and two nephews. and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. De Coster will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Rick Anderson and Dennis Hollandsworth officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday morning/afternoon.
