Gennie Thelma Wright

Miss Gennie Thelma Wright, age 101 of Dobson, passed away on Friday Morning February 2, 2007 at Dunmore Plantation in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on May 25, 1905 to the late Joseph Raleigh Wright and the late Laura Dell Jarvis Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Trent Lyons will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at New Hope Baptist Church. Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson is serving the Wright family.
