George Monroe "Bud" Burch

Mr. George Monroe “Bud” Burch, age 84, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1940, in Guilford County, to the late George Monroe Burch Sr. and the late Vertie Mae Carter Burch New. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Elquest; his sons, Johnny Burch and Samuel Burch; and his sisters, Linda Haney, Bonnie Sneed, and Molly Sneed.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Icy Pack Burch; his daughter, Candace Spennato; his sons and daughters-in-law, George Edward and Pam Burch, Chris Lee and Shonda Burch, and Paul Andrew and Ashley Burch; grandchildren, Stephen Spennato, Christina Spennato, Tessa Marie Burch, Kameron Burch, Samuel Burch, and Isabella Burch; and a great grandchild, Liam Cavanaugh; and his sister, Shelby Jean Blackburn. Mr. Burch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024, in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Pardue officiating. There will be no services conducted at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 315, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Burch family.
