Georgia Mae Bell

Ms. Georgia Mae Willard Bell, 80, of Mt. Airy passed away unexpectedly, along with her dear friend, James Rogers,  Friday, May 4, 2018.  She was born in Carroll County, VA June 18, 1937 to the late Roy D. Willard and Lena Easter Willard Sechrist.  Ms. Bell was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always greeting everyone with her warm smile. She served her Lord and Savior with joy in her heart. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church for more than 40 years. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Iscaro, Janie and Arvil Gammons, Mary and Mark Hodges, and Wendy and Danny Nance; sons, Joe Bell and Jason Bell; grandchildren, Justin Hoyle, Jody Hoyle, Jeremiah Davis, Amanda Lundgren, Carissa Caudle, and Lisa Bell; great-grandchildren, Ashley Gammons, Abby Lundgren, Owen Lundgren, Jordan Clark, Madison Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Perry Easter; a sister-in-law, Ann Willard; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Bell was preceded in death by her brothers and a sister-in-law, Lane Willard and Charles and Eddie Lee Willard.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. David Sechrist officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12pm until time for the service at the church.
