Georgia Elizabeth Connors Neff

Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth Connors Neff, 90, of 124 Lake View Circle, Mount Airy, widow of Merle Neff, passed away Monday, November 27, 2006, at Central Continuing Care. She was born May 29, 1916, in Newbury, Mass., to the late Stephen and Jessie Connors. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She is survived by a daughter, Ethel Taylor of Longmont, Colorado; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryant and Ronna Neff of Mount Airy and Richard and Gail Neff of Gloucester, Mass; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Neff was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Cobb. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at Maple Grove United Methodist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Johnson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
