Geraldine Lovill

Mrs. Geraldine Reece Lovill, age 68, of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her home.  Mrs. Lovill was born in Surry County on March 15, 1951, to Dewey and Elsie Reynolds Reece.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory is a daughter and son-in-law, Lorri and Dale Beasley; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Genene Lovill, and Arles and Ann Phillips; grandchildren, Kevin King, Kelly Key, Taylor King, Dustin Lovill, Jessica Gravitte, Colton Lovill, and Brycen Lovill; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Reece, Jimmy and Lisa Reece and Eddie and Tammy Reece.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lovill was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Lovill; a daughter, Deana Lovill; and a sister, Carolyn Whitaker.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Greg Flippen.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home beginning at 12:30.
