Gertha Louise Bates Bullins

Mrs. Gertha Louise Bates Bullins, age 82, of Siloam, NC, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Central Continuing Care Nursing Home in Mt. Airy, NC.  She was born in Yadkin County on February 28, 1940, to the late Johnny Troy Bates and the late Fannie Adams Bates.  She was a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Bullins; sisters, Betty, Cora Lee, Bonnie; brothers, Donald Bates, William Bates; and daughter-in-law, Daphney Bullins.  Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ronnie Caudle; sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne Bullins, Eddie and Ginger Bullins, Jackie Bullins; grandchildren, Jessica Bullins, Chris Bullins, Kathrine Nelson, Robert Nelson, Joey Bullins, Conner Bullins; great-grandchild, Brayden Bullins; sister, Gladys Davis.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday October 27, 2022, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Jarred Seal will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC  on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 P.M.
