Gina Leann Jones

Gina Leann Jones, age 40, of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 in Charlotte. Ms. Jones was born in Flint, MI on February 10, 1970 to Vicky Ellis Jenkins and the late Andrew Jones. She was a loving and faithful person who touched the hearts of many. "Gina will live on in our hearts forever." Surviving is a daughter, Victoria Lockhart; sons, Johnathon Lockhart (and Hannah) and Joshua Jones all of Mt. Airy; a granddaughter, Lisa Lee Lockhart; fiancé, Dale Trenter of the home; her mother, Vicky Jenkins of Mt. Airy; sisters, Kathy Savoie and husband Danny of Grand Blanc, MI; Robbie Jones and fiancé Clyde Tate; Brandee Bledsoe all of Mt. Airy; stepfather, Rob Jenkins; Nana and Pa, Doug and Betty McCloud of Mt. Airy; Grandma Geraldine Rose of Mt. Airy; uncle and aunts, Michael and Betty Gibson of KY; Charles and Tammy Ellis; Belo Ellis; Terry Ellis; Ronnie Jones and Jerry Jones all of Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Tina Trenter; Tonya Trenter (best friend) and Shane Thornton; brother-in-law, Jeff Trenter, mother-in-law, Cynthia Carter and husband Roger; father-in-law, Dale Lewis Trenter; many nieces and nephews and a special family friend Bob. In addition to her father, Gina was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Bledsoe; Poppa R. L. Gibson; Mamma, Ora Lee Waddill and an uncle, Dennis Gibson. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Oakdale Cemetery by brother-in-law, Danny Savoie. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home.
