Ginger Gail Wall Sechrist

Mrs. Ginger Gail Wall Sechrist, age 71 of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday afternoon March 26, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born September 27, 1953, in Surry County to the late Mary Louise Ramey Wall. Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Amanda Sechrist; two grandchildren, Connor Sechrist and Carlee Sechrist; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Stephanie and Joe Scales, and Julie and Greg Perkins; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Jennifer Wall; nieces and nephews, Jordon and Crystal Wall, Bradley Wall, Madison Easter, Hillary Scales Caudle and husband Adam, Tyler and Sarah Scales, Owen Perkins, and Olivia Perkins; a great niece, Lily Wall; a great nephew, Graham Scales; and several other family and friends. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sechrist was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Sechrist. If you knew Ginger, you knew her love for Darren and her family, Elvis, and all animals. A service of worship and celebration will be held on Sunday March 30, 2025, at 2:00pm at Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Wall officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday at Moody’s from 1:00 – 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginger’s memory may be made to local animal rescues or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
