Glen "Cookie" Edward Sutphin

       Mr. Glen Edward Sutphin “Cookie”, age 57 of Mount Airy, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  He was born in Patrick County on October 16, 1960, to the late Marvin King Sutphin and Essie Mae Sutphin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Sutphin.  Cookie enjoyed fishing and working on motorcycles.  He was outgoing and friendly to everyone he met.

       Cookie is survived by two children, Hallie McHone Sutphin and Josh Sutphin; two brothers, William “Billy” Sutphin and John Wayne Sutphin (Cynthia); one step-brother, Frankie Leon DeHart, Jr “Jimmy”; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
