Glen Alan Hutchison

Glen “Alan” Hutchison, 56, of Mount Airy, born January 28, 1968, in Dover, DE, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2024.

To my sweet husband, best friend, and the best dad to Isla, I wish we had more time together.  I’ve never met someone who I connected with so well.  We always knew exactly what each other was thinking, and we loved all the same things.  We were so much alike, but so different and complimented each other so well.  You completed every part of my life.  I’ve never felt so safe and loved.  We worked so hard and made a lifetime of memories in such little time.  We have the most perfect daughter who I will always make sure she knows how loved she was.  She will know all about your love for aviation, all the friends you’ve made along the way, and the stories you have shared.  Alan led an unbelievable life.  He was an amazing pilot, doing that for over 30 years.  Alan attended the Airforce Academy and later finished his flight training in Florida.

Alan is survived by his wife, Marina; his daughter, Isla; his son, Karston; his father, Glen; his sister Tammy (Ed); his aunt, Lisa (Larry); and an abundance of friends.  A celebration of Alan’s life will be shared at a later date.
