Glenda Faye Hill

Mrs. Glenda Faye Hill, 69, of Hillsville, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Hill was born June 23, 1941, in Carroll County, VA, to Howard and Eathel Newman Hill. She retired from Hill's Farms, Inc. and was a member of Fancy Gap United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hill will be dearly missed by all her dear family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Hill of the home; a daughter, Bobbi Jo Marshall of Fancy Gap, VA; a son, Jeffrey Hill of Hillsville, VA; grandchildren, Seth Hill, Brooke Hill, Jared Marshall, and Josie Marshall; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis and Shirley Hill of Hillsville, VA, and Don and Ramona Hill of Pinehurst. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Scott Robinson-Gouge, the Rev. Wendell Horton, and the Rev. Layne Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
