Glenda Lee Holder Wainwright

Mrs. Glenda Lee Holder Wainwright, 71, of 156 Farm Stead Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Wainwright was born September 24, 1937, in Surry County, daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Belton Holder. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randy and Rosella Holder of Winchester, VA, and George Holder and fiance, Karen Rice, of Mount Airy; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Charles and Katherine Plum of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wainwright was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wainwright; a son, William Raymond Wainwright; a sister, Pamela Plum; and a brother, Ronnie Holder. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 1:00 PM at Highland Park Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Grover Holder, and burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
