Glenn Creed

Mr. Glenn Creed, 90, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Home in Dobson. Mr. Creed was born April 26, 1922, in Surry County, the son of the late John Roscoe and Effie Dawson Creed. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are a brother, Ray Creed of Winston-Salem; and a friend, David Jarrell of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Stewart Roten officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
