Gracie Ellen Keen

Mrs. Gracie Ellen Boyd Keen, age 88 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Richlands, VA on February 28, 1934, to the late Harvey William Boyd and Pearl Prince Lowe Boyd.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Neal Keen, Sr.; one son, Joseph David Keen; one daughter, Keron K. Setliff; one sister, Trula Faye Short; and three brothers, Earl Ball, Charlie Ball, and Otis Boyd.  Gracie loved doing jig-saw puzzles and playing her guitar, mandolin, and banjo.  She also loved working in her garden.

Mrs. Keen is survived by one son, Homer Neal Keen, Jr. of Florida; four daughters, Judy Keen Lowe of Stuart, Kathy Keen Murphy of Stuart, Patricia Keen Upton of Stuart, Misty Keen Disharoon of Patrick Springs; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Boyd of Stuart; two sisters, Goldie Mae Davis (Earl) of Ohio, Nell Davis (Orson) of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.  Burial will follow in the Boyd-Keen Family Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Rhea officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
