Grady Lee Bowman

Mr. Grady Lee Bowman, 70, of Mt. Airy passed away April 28, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Stokes County on February 7, 1948 to Aldie Lee Bowman and the late Clara Fannie Belle Bowman.  Mr. Bowman was retired from Hamlin Casting.  Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife, Betty Childress Bowman of the home; a daughter, Wanda Ring of Winston Salem; a son, Robert Bowman of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Austin, Cheyenne, Kayla, and Dakota Bowman; his father, Aldie Lee Bowman and wife, Dorothy; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Woods and friend Tommy Hawks of Mt. Airy, Linda and Jackie Stroud of Denton; brothers and sister-in-law, Junior Bowman of pilot Mountain, Burton and Diane Bowman of Mt. Airy, many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Indian Grove Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:0.0 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
