Grady Lee Wolfe

Mr. Grady Lee Wolfe, 64, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Wolfe was born November 15, 1944, in Surry County, to the late Howard Newton and Ida Mae Hicks Wolfe. He retired from the North Carolina Granite Corporation. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Eric Combs and Debbie and Bill Vaught, all of Mount Airy; a son, Christopher Sean Wolfe of Mount Airy; five grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Edith Reece of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Genesis Full Gospel Church, with the Rev. Donnie Hooker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time for the service at Genesis Full Gospel Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler "Psalm 9:4"
