Gregory Dean Watson

Mr. Gregory Dean "Greg" Watson Age 45 of 517 Pine View Dr. Mt. Airy passed away Monday April 12, 2010. Mr. Watson was born April 21, 1964 in Surry County to Bobby and Bonnie Marsh Watson, he was vice president of Yadkin Farms, Inc., was a member of Renfro Masonic Lodge #691 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Greg was also an avid hunter. Surviving are his daughter Kayla Marie Watson and fiancé Jonathan Wilmoth both of Dobson, his parents Bobby and Bonnie Marsh Watson of Mt. Airy, three sisters and brothers-in-law Debbie Watson of Mt. Airy, Amy and Rodney Simpson of Ararat, NC. and Sharon and Chad Slater of Pilot Mountain, his step grandmother Martha Watson of Mt. Airy, nieces and nephews Tana, Jake and Taylin Leftwich, Tyler and Kyle Simpson and Emma and Molly Slater, his best friend Payge Williams and her children Sophie, Eli and Sadie Williams and his two dashhounds Lucy and Oscar. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilson C. and Sylvia W. Marsh and Dewey F. and Dorothy B. Watson. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Dr. Roger Gilbert with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home.
