Hannah Renae Brady

Ms. Hannah Renae Brady, age 26, of Elkin, NC passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2022, at Atrium Health, Winston Salem Campus.  She was born in Surry County on January 3, 1996, to Lisa Ann York Brady and to the late Darren James Edward Brady; in addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Dwight York; and grandparents James and Geraldine Brady. Surviving is the love of her life, her son, Damian James Garcia-Brady; Mother, Lisa Ann York Brady and her stepfather, Chris Burkhart; sister, Heather Brady (Gary Barnes); Grandmother, Linda York; aunt, Lona York; uncle, Alfred York; several cousins and special friends.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 3:00 PM April 9, 2022, in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow at White Rock Cemetery in Thurmond community. Rev. Tony White will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 3:00 PM. The family would like to give a special thank you to Surry County EMS; Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital; Atrium Health, Winston-Salem Campus for the care given to our loved one.
